| I studied Computer Science, Electronics, Physics and
Mathematics at BITS, Pilani [1974-1981]. I did schooling from Birla School
and Birla Shishu Vihar, Pilani. I worked in the software research and
development centers of ORG Systems and C-DOT. ORG Systems developed
microcomputers and system software. Center for Development of Telematics
developed a series of telecommunication and network products. I have been very
much influenced by parents, family members, teachers, class mates, friends,
bosses, colleagues, unknown & unrelated people, society, news papers, story
books, text books, books from libraries, the places that I worked,
television, Internet, all kinds of information sources and my own
observations and analysis. I have traveled widely in India and USA on
official and pleasure tours. I have learned most of the management skills by
observation and self-study of text books. I have worked in a large number of
computer projects in various locations and corporations. I love the
systematic style of Physics and Math text books. The real world is not so
systematic. I am putting in my efforts in multiple directions at present as
I have multiple interests. I am interested in more fields than it is
possible for me to justify. I have two main focuses at present: (1) Software
research & development (2) Developing Mittal Institute of Technology &
Science, where I can put the education and research into a systematic way
that I wish to see.
